I missed the original kit as a kid so I was very excited to build this version and I was not dissapointed it is like the other reviewer said not built for thrashing or undue abuse like some modern cars but those cars won't be remembered 30 years later either. The chassis builds in a few short hours, the body will take much longer to do it right but the more time you spend making it look nice the more satisfaction it will bring when done. You end up with a fully functional model that looks as good as many static models and if treated right is very reliable and scale to drive especially on sand or loose dirt.

This is an awesome kit. Very fun to build and extremely scale looking when finished. Remember, this is 30 year-old technology. But, when combined with modern electronics it is a real pleasure to operate. The box art paint job took A LOT of time and does not hold up to crashes well. By far, the best scale looking r/c kit ever made. Give it a try!
