This is an excellent brushed ESC. Really easy to configure with the included Program Card.  The response and acceleration control is as good as other more expensive units.

Doesn't get any better June 19, 2017

My days of running high $ esc's are over. The 1080 does it all, from crawlers to touring cars. I have 6 of these and haven't had a problem with any of them. If you're running a brushed motor, this is the only esc to get!

My New Go-To Brushed ESC May 13, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from United States
This ESC is going to be replacing all my Castle SV3s that I previously used as my go-to cheap ESC that still had tuning options. I picked one up just to see and was blown away at how great this thing is for the price, currently running it in my SCX10, and soon any rig afterwards. Small footprint, tons of tuning options, INCLUDED programmer for bench or field changes, and just overall cheap price. If Castle had a brushed ESC in the $40 range that supported Castle-Link, it might be slightly fair, but otherwise if you're looking for a brushed ESC to power your Wraith/SCX10s, this thing just can't be beat right now for what it is.

Oh, and I see the review down there about the power button falling off. I have no idea what he did, but this button's design is way better than the Castle switch that gets gunked up and seizes, before they moved to the more weather-resistant one.

Great ESC May 11, 2017

Bought this for a sawback and was pleasantly surprised. It's been submerged several times and ran on day long trips and have had zero problems. And it has better power than my SV3 that's on a different rig.
