Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package with our Double Deuce and Lil’ Nova product lines. It became clear early on, that protecting the tire foams from flat spots was going to be crucial. Especially with heavy scale rc vehicles and water soaked foams. Originally we used a brick under the skid plate for storing our rc crawlers at CI. However, those were not ideal, especially when transporting an rc in a 1:1 vehicle to an event, or while building or performing routine maintenance. Something had to be done to remedy the situation and the original Crawler Innovations Cell Block was created.

The Big Block Combination Stand is a new design, made from ultra dense, closed cell, and is custom machined into a base with an interlocking top. This two piece designs serves several functions. When the top is flipped over, it reveals a .500" deep trough for collecting hardware during maintenance or building.

The base of the Big Block features;

Eight - .250" holes;
Four - .375" holes;
Four - .500" holes;
Four - .750" holes;
Three - 1.0" holes;

These holes can be used for holding tools, building or rebuilding shocks, or ...?

The large opening is 4.00" wide and is shaped to hold a cell phone, tablet, or electronic device while the user listens to music, watches a video, or it can be used as a stand to film from.
