DragRace Concepts AXIS belted rear tires were designed from the ground up for No Prep Drag Racing.
Starting with the specialized rubber compound the AXIS tires provide a superior blend of grip and durability. The flat face design maximizes the tire contact patch with the track surface. This design eliminates any need for "wide" wheels or stretching of tires to maximize the contact patch. Special attention was paid to the thickness of the tire carcass to ensure tire stability at speed. Integrated outside wall ribbing can be removed to customize sidewall flex in the tire. The medium compound closed cell foam insert provides support and stability to the tire.
