Ok, I've been driving with these for a few weeks, time for a review.
I would describe my environment as 60% sand, 30% rocks, and 10% rocks bigger than the Bomber. The dry creek bed behind my house is like a miniature King of the Hammers...
My whole rig takes a serious beating but the front and back axle pumpkins seem to take the worst of it.
I have these skid plates front and rear and now THEY take that beating. And they're made of steel.
For me it's not about the scale look (which is fine, imho), or the ability to slide over rocks (also fine) but the ability to get repeatedly punched in the mouth by rocks and not fall apart in two months.
Fit was good enough. Durability is bananas. The only thing I am ever worried about with these is the bottom fastener which gets rapidly beaten to death; a minor inconvenience.
