I got these for both my SCX10.3 and SCX24 JLU and while you won't notice the weight on the 1/10 rigs, you'll definitely notice it on the 1/24. Plus with all the wires, it really weighs it down a bit. Kinda makes my SCX24 a LCG crawler or slider or whatever the current term for the belly-riders. I think I could've gone with the 1060 but I said why not and just went with the 1080. No disappointment here for either of my SCX rigs. The drag brake is on-point and the throttle response is as fine as you can expect it to be. Stock, it does come with pre-soldered XT60 plugs for the battery.
And as a side-note, you can configure the ESC to push out 7.4v for your HV servos BUT, the tiny micro servos cannot handle anything higher than 6v. Keep that in mind IF you're getting these for the SCX10.3 and want to use the 2-speed and/or dig features where they want you to use the Spektrum SX107 Micro Servo. You'll want to use an external BEC for the HV servo and keep this running at 6v.
