it lived 2.5 seconds on 2s and no real load. I was respooling the winch with metal winch wire. after talking to friends it is not uncommon to burn these up easily. some have burned up while not even being used, just riding up the trail.

1st one sent did not work but within12 hours of notifying RPP, RC4WD contacted me & sent a replacement unit. EXCELLENT service & am truely impressed! Shipping was very fast. Will continue to do business in the future. NOTE: A little tricky to bind controller to receiver but RC4WD has a good video on their website. Pay attention not to hook up to 3s above 11.1v...some sites say 3s compatible but don't mention the upper voltage limit & can fry your receiver out!

as noted on the site, go source some extra batteries.  The controller would not bind; however, after new batteries it set-up without additional issues.
