5 of 5 great two speed December 14, 2013
Reviewer: Tom Lucas from Tehachapi, CA United States
I've had this transmission in my SCX10 for about a 8 months now with no problems. First gear is lower than a stock Axial and second is taller than stock ,so you can run a 35T motor for crawling and have a pretty good top end. HOLMES HOBBIES TORQUE MASTER PRO MOTORS (35T) or a 18.5 Brushless Crawl motor would give you then best of both worlds. Great tranny . If you don't have end point adjustment on your third channel ,I highly recommend a light weight servo saver(small one) or a spring-slide lever for the transmission shifter or you will ruin the servo.

5 of 5 Very cool September 9, 2013
Reviewer: Matthew Ledbetter from Westland, MI United States
This was a great addition to my SCX10 Honcho. Definitely increases the fun factor. At the flip of a switch you can crawl around super slow, or go fast enough after going through mud to sling all of the mud out of your tires. I didn't have to flip my trans mount around like the previous review suggested, but my front driveshaft did have to be shorter as a result, so I used a MIP SCX10 DIG driveshaft and the length was perfect!

5 of 5 awesome a 2 speed for a scx10 September 1, 2013
Reviewer: John from Detroit, MI United States
I think this is the coolest piece for a scx10.  2 speed trans bolts right in.  Note:  flip the trans mount around 180 degrees.  Make sure spur faces forward.  Also you will have to shorten the rear driveshaft about 1/4".  This is no biggie with a rotary tool and cutting wheel.  BTW traxxas 2080 submicro servo fits and can be used for the shifting servo if you dont want to use a standard size.  Overall awesome!

2 of 5 Failed parts inside of trans June 3, 2013
Reviewer: Tatum Bautista from Wahiawa, HI United States
I recently ordeded (2) AX2 2Speed Transmissions for mine IFS Wraith and my brother's Wraith.  Upon arrival of the trans took it apart to inspect the internal gears and grease the trans.  The trans could use more grease than what it has.  On both transmissions found the E-Clips on the shifter shaft (1) trans missing both clips and the other 1 bent E-Clip. Emailed RC4WD about the problem and they are currently sending parts to pair both transmissions and they are currently working on fixing the problem with the transmission e-clips.
