Crawler Innovations is excited to bring a new material and design to the RC Rock Crawling, & Scale RC Crawling hobby / sport. This new design features a closed cell inner foam with a conventional outer.
The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
Inner Width:
The Standard Inner Foam Width fits 1" - 1.35" wide wheels.
"Comp Cut" Inner Foams have a relief machined into the inner foam allowing for the outer foam to compress into. This results in a more responsive tire for competition RC Rock Crawlers.
These are designed for the Pit Bull Rock Beast 2, Ottsix Voodoo tires, and for Cut N Shut custom tires.
These can also be used in 5.5" tall tires if you have a very heavy scale truck, or if you want more inner support in a competition truck.
Note: Outer foams may have some yellowing over time or from sun exposure. This does not affect the performance of the foam.
