Crawler Innovations is excited to bring a new material and design to the RC Rock Crawling, & Scale RC Crawling hobby / sport. This new design features a closed cell inner foam with a conventional outer.
The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.
CI has been working on New Double Deuce inner foams for the last few months now. In effort to stream line the product for retail hobby store distribution, CI has designed a new foam that fits both narrow and wide wheels. The foam density and height are the same. What has been changed is the width and shape of the foam. The new foam width is 1.75" and the new foam shape is designed specifically for 1" wheels, but they will fit any size wheel from .7" to 1.35".
CI also has a new inner foam design called "Comp Cut". These foams are for comp minded individuals who want the excellent sidewall support that the closed cell Double Deuce foams have to offer, but want a tad more tire wrap without sacrificing undercut management. Comp Cut foams will be $2 more per pair because they have a machined channel running around the outside diameter. They are available in 5.0", 5.25", 5.5", & 6.0" sizes.
