3 of 5 Needs Modification August 9, 2021

These work just fine once you deepen the slots on the front drive cups.  I used a Dremel cut off wheel to do it easily.  Fixed the bucking issues while turning full lock.  Don't forget to transfer the little O-ring from the stock drive cups.  Also, the little flat head screws can be used as bearing retainer screws on the rear axle.

1 of 5 Wobbles January 6, 2021
Reviewer: wa1210ck from Hercules, CA United States
It’s hard to put in to words what’s going on...

[Redacted]

And for reference, this is for my Axial SCX24 JLU.

With the stock drive stub, it spins straight but with the HR +4mm stub, it wobbles as if doesn’t seat well onto the dogbone like the ball cup isn’t radiused properly. When I turn all the way to one direction and give it some throttle, it would constantly wobble back and forth as evidenced in the video but would drive a lot smoother if I were to go relatively straight.

I was sent me a replacement but its doing the exact same thing. Maybe my stock steel hubs are machined incorrectly and only matches with the stock hubs? I tested that out and swapped the left with the right and they both fit without issues on either side but when I tried to put the HR stubs, they wobble once again.

The rear, however, hasn't given me any issues...
