Not sure what the exact issue is but on my front axle these covers made the gear mesh in the axle too tight and bind up. Worked better on one axle than the other, but even with the cover just BARELY snug to the axle I get the slightest hint of a tight spot in the gears that never happened with the stock plastic covers. Shame, they look great and come with two new proper length screws too.

get what you pay for
Fit good, though I had some gear rub on my front axle, the diff cover had a small burr from the manufacturing that wasn't removed before anodizing.

These are nice beefy units with more metal down low where it's needed, they weigh 8 grams each, HR only 5 grams each and not enough meat. Plus these SSD covers include two new slightly shorter screws, very nice touch. I really like these SSD diff covers!
